Rainbow Mountain 7 Colors Rainbow Mountain 7 Colors: Vinicunca Ausangate Mountain The center of the Andean world stands at 3,200 meters above sea level on the Saphi and Choquechaca rivers and is surrounded by snow mountains two of which two are permanently snow peaks, that is, Ausangate (6,600 meters) and Salkantay (6,300 meters) that are considered the protector spirits of the city. The point is called Vinikunka and considered a marvel of nature that is only comparable with Tibet and China and has also been praised by National Geographic as one of the “100 views you should see before you die”. The formation of sedentary layers of halitite of which ocre, green, yellow, white are some of the varieties in their characteristic and peculiar colors that you can witness.
